I think I should be spending more time reading things that are important, true, and useful. The very basics (sometimes), and trying to expand my mastery of those basics. Or excellent examples, which I can imitate, perhaps.

There is a keen wisdom in the practice of bible studies, to complete a detailed look at a book and then immediately start over. There are many works I might look to for knowledge and wisdom, but it's been far too long since I've returned to most of them.

Sit down for five minutes, and write out what springs to your mind. Then, spend a little time every day on them, stretching past their words and even maybe their meaning. Push yourself with the texts. And, perhaps, when you are done, begin again.

I'll be doing my best. My list has a few things I feel guilty about not having returned to.
